Return of Goods

Returns will not be accepted unless prior approval has been given. If approval is given then a restocking fee will apply. Quotation of the relevant invoice number will facilitate prompt handling of returns due to faulty workmanship or incorrect supply will be replaced or credited to the invoice value of the returned product which will be the total limit of Coating Supplies’s liability. Return freight charges in such cases will be accepted by Coating Supplies provided our normal carrier is used for the return of the goods. Returns due to customer error will only be accepted in exceptional circumstances. Claims arising from incorrect supply of goods must be made within seven (7) days of invoice date.

Warranties

Coating Supplies Warrants the Goods are the merchantable quality. The obligations of the Coating Supplies shall be limited to the cost of repairing or at the option of the Coating Supplies replacing the Goods. No Warranties are given in respect of goods made to a Buyer’s order (Special Products). Under no circumstances will the Coating Supplies be liable for any direct incidental or consequential loss or damage whatsoever arising from the use, storage or application of the Goods. The loss or damage referred to shall mean and include without limiting the foregoing loss or damage caused by negligence or willful act or default of the Coating Supplies, it employees or agents whether or not such loss or damage was contemplated by the Coating Supplies. All other warranties or representations whether statutory or otherwise and whether express or implied or oral or written as to the state quality or fitness of the Goods are hereby expressly excluded save and except conditions and warranties implied by the Trade Practices Act 1974 (as amended) and other conditions or warranties which by a relevant statute are expressed to be incapable of exclusion.
